Cute lil'l sprite, and I like the walk animation.
Umm... but I have some c&c about the boxing animation. I tried his moves out and they just don't work.
First of all... the stance. The legs are nice and wide apart, good balance. Only one thing, when you hit there is absolutely no point in turning the foot out like that, no point in moving it anywhere at all (no you don't even lift any part of the feet from the ground). If you did you would probably loose all your balance and fall, or the punch would get weak. Because the force in the blow comes from your hip. If you move your feet, it is because you want to move forwards or backwards towards your opponent, or sideways around them. As your sprite isn't moving when turning the foot I'd say it's a pretty much useless move.
Okay, then I'll move on to the arms. Base positions for arms when boxing are elbows down, close to the body (like, almost in front of your chest), and fists close to the chin. That is because you always have to be prepared to block a blow towards your face. That's the most important part to defend on your body. You also try to keep your shoulder up and chin down (so you won't get hit on/under the jaw, that's dangerous). When you box with one arm, the other stays close to the body, prepared to block any blow to the face from that side.
In your sprite he lowers the arm (away from us) after the blow and then hits with the other. WRONG. That fist and arm would go back into base position close to the face and head.
