I tried challenging myself by using only four colors, and this is what I got.
It's the leader of a horde of lizardmen. CC?

crocman? looks more like a fish or a lizard, but I like it. I think the tail could use some work though, the shading isn't working there IMO, think the colours are great anyway. nice challenge.

I'm not sure I know what you mean about the tail's shading. Given the lightsource, that's what the shading will look like. Though I'm not sure anymore. 
An edit will help.

It doesn't look like much light belongs on the tail, as the lightest colour is so prominant it just looks outta place imo..

heres my edit, messed around with the colours too.. Im not the best but I had a go.

But it's no longer four colors. Still, pretty awesome for six colors.

Pawige, you need to make a game.  All the graphics would be so sexy.

Pawige's edit actually solves mt problem.  It doesn't look like a croc.  It wouldn't hurt to try and edit the lines to look like that.
