@0xDB: Thanks for the demo. Progress bar is an interesting idea and I'll keep it in mind. I use a bunch of other helpers, nothing too helpful for specifically Nicolaides. I do use
TMSU to categorize/search by tag, you might be interested in that -- I find it more satisfactory than solutions that attempt to store tags in the file itself.
modelled drawing with ballpoint.. sounds like an interesting challenge. Probably easier in warmer temperatures. I figure I will catch up to you eventually. Hoping the required amount of paper gradually reduces in future schedules -- 170 pages just for gesture per schedule is nothing to sneeze at.
----
Nothing much has been happening on the drawing front for me in the last week, for reasons including but not limited to: being sick, ridiculous quantities of rain and wind, and doing maintenance necessitated by the latter while affected by the former.
Also prepping stuff for next Nicolaides schedule (using up various inconvenient formats of paper means I have to do my own cutting. I have an efficient routine.. it's just a lot less efficient when doing so little is so tiring
)
Still somewhat sick but plan to get first 4 slots of Nicolaides 3a done tomorrow.
So uh, for this one I have some trees, and tones, and tree tones, even.
Also a rather odd portrait from imagination. More of a test of media, really -- this is a HB pencil with chisel tip. Works rather like a knife in that you get a gradient between sharpness and blending according to relation to the 'blade' axis.
