Likes: My fav game right now is Borderlands, Uncharted 2 or Metal Gear Solid series. (I love seeing 3D characters become 2D sprites~ *hinthint*) I also love Angelic Pretty lolita fashion, the colour pink, cute things, Gitaroo Man, Katamari, Ragnarok Online, Anything Ghibli, Tekkon Kinkreet, dolls, and hot dudes (RE4 Leon is pretty high on my hotness scale if you're wondering. Mmm~ could fry an egg on him.) I also like humour, and surprises. Nice surprises, that is... :D

Dislikes: Landscapes, Furries, Mecha, Cars, Kirby, Retro gaming 80s - I missed the golden era :C, Pokemon, lack of creativityyy.

Sidenote: Please don't give me rikfuzz. We live together, so that would totally defy the point of this xD

I like top left too because I think the bag under its eyes are a really cute detail xD

Though I feel the greys might be a bit too similar, maybe if you added a blue or brownish tint to the mid shading tone, it might bring it out more? :D

I made an edit and hope this helps you..
I feel the creases should be emphasized but used sparingly to match the simple style, and the shield arm moved into a lower, more natural position~ especially since a shield is so heavy.

I think you could benefit from an extra mid tone colour too...I feel the mid-tone lime green is too bright and the other colours are too far apart in shades for you to shade with them to their full extent. Though I'm not so good with colours myself, so maybe someone with more knowledge can help you out there :x

I think if you balanced her legs out more like this (I assume you're making her look like she's running?) it would look like she could keep her balance, plus add readibility...I moved her hindleg back a bit in my edit and her foreleg straighter and further forward for this.

I also moved her shoulder down into a more natural position. I experimented and tried to give her a mouth, but failed Orz;;
I think that's more of a stylistic thing, it just seems to adds more emotion to the piece overall.


I hope this helps...

I love her hair though, it has a really nice flow to it ♥

Hiya, I'm Maru from London ♥
I'm mainly a comic artist but from time to time I have fun with pixels so joined this site in the hopes that my pixelling will develop.
I used to play 2D sprite RPGs a lot so I've been admiring from afar until now.
Ragnarok Online still is one of my favourite inspirations.

Hope to meet some awesome people here! :D
