I'm certainly not the best guy to consult here, but here's my take on it:
The first thing I thought was 'this is a logo, so if this were mine I'd want it to 'pop' visually'. So I drastically darkened your darkest blue and used it for the unlit pieces of ice. I also made them larger (since you complained that it look flat) and gave them more than one color (icy streaks using the dark gray you used on top) to make them better fit in with the logo overall. I then slightly darkened the top of it (it popped a bit
too much
), unfortunately turning your palette from four to five colors, since the blue you used previously served as a nice fade from the bright white into the surface of the lettering.
Like I said... I'm not the best, but I tried, taking into account some of the things I've learned on these forums over the past year. I really hope this helps you out.
