Pixel Art / [WIP]Samurai Sword Lift Anim - C + C
« on: May 03, 2009, 04:08:44 pm »

This is a work in progress and I'm still a novice

Anyways, this is going to be a samurai / ninja guy unsheathing two swords from his back and finishing in a battle stance. There are still a couple of frames that I have to make (can't make them right now because I'm doing a project for school)

My own crit:
His legs kind of remind me of that of a horse.
His hair looks like a helmet.
His shirt (supposed to resemble a karate gi) is too bland.
I need to add a frame between the 6th and 7th frames to get the "slowing down" effect I guess
I need to take the gap out of his crotch in the first 5 frames ( or make it smaller so it looks like he's still moving but it doesn't suddenly disapear)

General Discussion / GraphicsGale's Background is White?
« on: May 03, 2009, 03:04:22 pm »
I don't know if this kind of question would fit here, but google isn't helping me.

Anyways, I've downloaded GraphicsGale to this computer (originally I had it on a computer in my room, but that one no longer has access to the internet). Everything works fine, except that it seems to have taken a new layout on this computer (as shown here):

It all looks fine, except that you can't see the canvas (ignore the blue bar saying copy, this computer is screwed and that comes and goes). In the upstairs computer everything surrounding the canvas is tan and all of the applications (palette, preview, layer...) can be "snapped" to the main program.

(sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this kind of question, I've read the rules and it doesn't mention anything about it)
