Attack animation/s

So I'm realising I should not be lazy and do some better attack animations to replace this
I'm thinking a 3-hit combo but I haven't been able to get my head around a good idea.
Maybe 2 fast slashes followed by a strong attack.

Anyone got a cool reference of such an attack combo for a single-handed sword I could look at?
Hopefully after I have something to mess around with I can learn to come up with my own attack ideas ::)

A lot of the megaman slashes are 2 handed too, but they are still pretty good references.
This one is not 2 handed though.
