Shading A Bear

(Sorry! Not sure how to upload images D;)
I need help shading this bear and also with a fur texture. I've never done a fur texture and would love some critique and advice!

Hi when you upload the image to imgur, there's an option to get a BBcode for forums
about the fur, I can't really help much. But for the shading, right now the whole area that is brighter looks kinda flat. What is the light source by the way?

Have you seen this topic? It might be helpful. But as a suggestion, don't be afraid to add more shadows.
