I'm new to these forums, and I pixelled this tree trying to learn how to shade and do pixel art in general. I havn't finished the background yet, nor do I know what to add to it.

The grass is terrible, I really don't know how to do it.

EDIT: I tried making a background - it looked good in my head but it didn't come across well. It was meant to be water with a city behind it (I don't know how to do the water). I think it's a backwards step
