On the contrary, it's a rather large amount of work if McMuffn decides to AA it, which I highly recommend.
I'm not really one to be giving AA advice because what I do hardly ever requires much of it, let alone on a huge scale, therefore I do not do it well over the course of large contours.
Good anti-aliasing is something that comes with practice. Either way, here's something which I think will give you an idea of one way to apply AA to this logo!
Having a white background may be a bad idea. It's a rather powerful color, so getting a good balance between the pixel cluster that is the logo and the one that is the background may be tough. To anti-alias is to find harmony between two colors, and said harmony is ushered in easily after the two colors are already close.
