Platform Viking

Hello here is a viking I have been working on for a platform game. It would be greatly appriciated if critiqued..
I know its not perfect. Also I will be animating it soon.

I'm having a hard time telling whats skin and what's beard in the face. It needs more contrast.

I also think you should either remove the black outlines, or use them around the entire character.
