Hi all!

This is my first big work on faces, that I made for practic in drawing faces (because, I think, if I know how to draw big detalised faces, then for me will be less problem with drawing smaller portraits and arts), and before going on AA and polishing the whole image I'd want to fix the main issues with work, if it is possible.

I'm not sure with his teeth and shading of ears and nose (and with his simple eyes, if to be honest). Also I'm not happy with this simple shading of his hat, that I made (But I do not know - how to make it better, or different).

But I would very appreciate any kind of advices and critique on my work

Nailed the character, but for pixel art this is hella huge

Need to delineate the teeth more, and in the ref the ears are flatter against the head. Wrong proportions can creep up on you, that's one example, so check em often.

Don't know if the hat shading is a choice. Could be. Depends on whether you want it to be close to the ref or wing it. Either way it would take way long to polish.

Smoothed the edges and added a tape on the hat. Also reduced the size of the ears and made outline on the teeths, my thanks to Pistachio!

I think you misunderstood the teeth thing

he still has a chunk of what looks like soap for teeth instead of seperate individual TEETH. It don't look right, you need to divide the teeth up so you can see the individual teeth or at the very least understand it's not a solid chunk of CHOMP
