Terley your redraw is great! It's not the style i'm going for but i like it a lot.
What you're saying about the pose make sense so i think i'm going to straighten the legs a bit and pull the left hand closer to the head.
Also i forgot to mention, it's supposed to be a beat em up version of the vault dwellers from fallout. They have skin thight clothing so that's where it comes from:
