since i got such a nice amount of help in the "shading" - thread i decided to post 2 finished pieces ive done latley.

1st is a sovietset made of a t-34, kv-85, su-76, a stalinorgan and some infantry


2nd is a germansetincluding the stug3g, tiger, opel-blitz, and a 15.5ffh gun


I like them how they are but u r welcome to comment this. :)

very welldone, i like the idea behind the palettechange.
the sprite itself looks nearly finished like this. I will
keep this new version to go on with.

what do you got agains dithering?

i used no dither in the entire piece, so i think this wont work on the tubes only...

why not make some details around the barrels? like some sort of rings? that would breakdown the effect of separated colors.
also you could have a large area of  shade, and then a less space for separate colors.

Holy crap that looks sweet. Dr Feng, do u actually play Warhammer 40K? Cuz it looks like you know a lot about the subject just by looking at the pic. (I play quite a bit myself with friends and such.). Any way you would continue this game?

i played warhammer 15 years ago - my son is playing 40k and it was ment to be a x-mas gift. I will restart this game with WW2 sprites.
