Pixel Art / Re: Tips needed on [WIP] tiles.

You're doing fine ..
Here's some things that i feel you can improve: the ring circle area of the wood (dont know the word..) looks a bit out of perspective, i think part of this is caused by the Rings..
You can improve the fork rope, looks really off in scene..

There are little variations which make the visual look more interesting, you dont need to do all those things at all, but, you have to be careful with too much information (tiles) with the same color (pallete).

These things it's only observations to considere it, you dont need to go crazy with it, is a natural way in evolution.
Keep goin!!

I ended up going simple and using some sin curves.

Great, love the stylized water.

When you look at her face it's hard to tell whether she is looking straight at you and is missing an eye, or if she's looking to the side. I know she's looking to the side but it still plays tricks with your eyes. I think the mouth needs to be moved a little to the left.

Hah, i know what you saying! i made a draw yesterday and had the same problem of ambiguous face look.. The fact is the face look more it was cuted in half with the mouth in her right side. Or to simplify: has a mount of hair in her left side of face.

There's something i want to tell, i didnt see before but, her neck are too straight and the body have a diagonal inclination, i made a edit to show you:
