Hi everyone, decided to register after lurking for quite a while. Hopefully I can get some helpful critique on something i whipped together.
I made this little sprite whilst taking a break from designing stuff for an RPG (Which I might also post at a later date)
I'm not happy with it but I don't have the experience to put my finger on what the problem is. I figure if I go any further with it I'll probably take it in the wrong direction and mess things up further, this seems to me to be the perfect stage to take on criticism and edit the sprite without too much trouble. The colour scheme is a placeholder, taken from Arne's "Generic 16 colour palette," until I can work out my own scheme which isn't hideous.
EDIT:Sorry about the small size of it btw, it started as just a quick break from making RPG sprites but as I took a more serious approach to it I found it was difficult to recreate it on a bigger scale.
