Injuries, injuries...
Well, I've been towed after a bike down a hill, cutting up my knees. I've dropped a camera on my foot, breaking off the nail on my big toe. Someone's kicked me in the face by accident so the top of a tooth got knocked off. Playing with beanbags, my brother either stepped on my foot or somehow got acid on it (maybe from the nearby batteries). Can't explain it, but I ended up with a large acid burn on my foot that got a huge, blue dome over it after two minutes. Still got the scar. At school I somehow managed to stab my hand with a pencil. The tip broke off and I couldn't get it out. By the time I got home the wound was allready healed. I can still see the piece in the palm of my drawing hand. Infused with art, sort o' speak...
During my only time rollerblading, I got pushed by one of my friends towards a fence. On the other side was a 5 meter drop. I couldn't stop, so I decided the smartest thing to do was gently fall over. The result was that my wrist broke my fall and I ended up with a broken arm. When I got to the doctor, they figured they had to pull it into place. They injected the painkillers, but for reasons unknown decided to pull right away. Having my bones reset without drugs is probably one of the most painfull things I've ever done in my life. Nearly fell off the operating table from the cramps. Later at a visit in another city, I had to get the bandages replaced because I put it in water (unknown to me). Got on a new type of tight blue bandage that was harder. However, when I got back and it was time to remove it, the doctor half assed the cutting, slicing up my arm all over the place.
Apart from that, I guess it's just mental scars.
While on the subject of slicing things. One of my friends had an odd summer job at a kindergarden. One of the slides there had in some way got it's edges bent outwards at the top, creating a sharp edge. As the kids held on to the rail and slided downwards, the gap narrowed in, cutting off their fingers. It happened quite a few times because it took time find out what happined and get the slide removed. The kids would use when they weren't there to stop them. My friend was the one that had to pick up the severed buds.
Xion: I thought the taste was a common thing. Usually just a side effect, like when you taste blood after running too much. Overstimulation if I remember correctly.
