Here, the focal area is the ghoul and cross. The standing figure almost blends into the bg.
Here, the focus is more on the cross and standing figure, who now stands out as a foreground element.

Hey V, got an explanation for this particular piece? You use crosses fairly often in yer stuff. In your work, what do they represent?
I like it when artists use recurring motifs, it paints a stronger picture of that artist's depicted world. Gives weight I think, a solidarity. But that's another topic.
