I'm doing this pixel, and I need crits and tips to finish it and have a better result.



I really need help on the stone that supports the tree. I was already trying to improve, but did not get any result.

The right side of the lava fall is still unfinished, as the foliage of the tree and the bottom of the fall.

I'm not an artist, but let's see if we can get this thread started somehow. The stone, right now, looks like it's glued onto the lava. Maybe you could let the lava flow alongside it at the bottom. Also, I suppose the stone should be equally lit - rather brightly, I guess? - on all side, since it's sitting on/in lava.

like crow said , you can make the lava flow in way that it covers the right corner of the stone since the stone is not completely horizontal , also you should make enough contrast between the lava and the stone , so it stands out and don't hesitate to make some cracks in the stone 
also i think the lower edge of the left side is not a right line :

I tried to give an improved in some aspects what you guys said, but I couldn't make the lava "flow" on the rock.

Well, lava changes a bit depending on environmental factors, but in general it's very thick and gloopy.


So I kind of tried to make it look as if it was pushing up against the rock a bit, before flowing around it. (kind of like goo or slime)
Also lava is going to be an incredible light source, so I think you should be more stark with your lighting and have some pretty contrasting values.
