[C+C] Idle Animation Help

on: April 21, 2015, 09:15:51 am
I've had this little guy sitting around for a while and decided to try my hand at idle animations. I'm not sure if it's the limitation of the sprite size, or if it's just me struggling a bit. I tried to emulate other idle cycles that had the body moving followed by the limbs. Any suggestions are very welcome!

I included a 400x version as well, since Chrome seems to have some difficulty with the site's zoom feature and it might save people some difficulty.

i did a few adjustments on the sprite, while trying not to alienate it too much :D

The animation is a little overly emphasized.

btw: try updating your Chrome and pixelated zoom should work

Oooh, that forward-backward rocking motion works a LOT better here. Thanks! I also tried editing the face to be a bit more like yours, particularly in terms of lighting. Your feet work a lot better too, that extra pixel for the extended part of the boot makes a big difference in how the balance feels.
