So this is what I have now, kinda looks like a ninja.

So I did my best with what I have, still not quite there, I'll try the flail now and hopefully that'll work.

Thanks for all the suggestions Jams! I might have left it looking more like a baton twirl than a whip haha

*edit after reading your edit

I still like it better this way than it was at the beginning, the character I'm doing is from a video game, so it's probably better to make it a little bit like the original.

Ok, so I tried to make it seem like more of a whipping than a swiping, I'm editing the small version just cause it's easier.

Did it work?

Also, I don't intend to make any more animations for him. So I'm gonna just try and make this work instead of what you said Jams about using them for jumps and other things, although I agree that would probably work best.

So, I've decided it's not going to be Simon. But I would like to know, would it be cooler to see a knight with a ball and chain (and of course change some things), or a person with a regular whip and keep the animation at the same pace? Also, I've increased the animations size almost 3 times.

Hmm, well now I can't either, it worked in the preview mode but I forgot clicking just makes it zoom.

Fixed hopefully

For fun, I'm making an animation.
It's destined to be Simon from the Castlevania series at some point.
But for now I'd just like to see what people think of the animation before I go to work on it.

Haha, thanks you two, ;D but I was just looking for some tricks, to maybe make it go by faster.

But seriously thanks. Made me smile. :)

Anyone know why whenever I try to open up a picture, I can't set the default program to GraphicsGale? It worked just fine when I had the free edition.

Yippee.

Thanks Frawg, I'll try to do a little better with the anti-aliasing.

Also, does anyone have any links to some animation tutorials, this is really the first thing I've done like this and I'm just curious if there are any good tips or tricks out there.

*Edit

Oh yeah and update

Should I add more pause between when he puts the pump down and when he starts pumping? I kinda like it fast like this, but I don't know whats best.

Ahh I see what you mean now, I'll fix that. Thanks.  ;D

And an extra frame in which animation, the dragon? Cause I already plan on that because I need to sync up the two animations.

Also, any GraphicsGale users out there know how to fix my problem? Every time I add a new frame, and set it to have transperancy, so I can see the onion skin. My whole frame just turns red and makes the animation flash red. I can't delete the red either. It's kinda hard to explain.

Also in my new frames, instead of drawing with black, it draws with red. :/

Done :)

I'm going to bed now.

Also, is that better with the shadow now?
