Sprites for my Doukutsu Monogatari (Cave Story) like game.

Well I made these sprites fora platform game I'm making.
It was inspired by Doukutsu Monogatari, as that game has some
really impressive sprites, music, and gameplay.
I'm making it with Gamemaker.

i like the bats and the scenery brick dealy but the selout needs some work, the character is also terribly cliche looking, not to mention the fact that i would plug something into his face.

 I like them Zol. Doukutsu was one of my favorite platformers. Though it's in japanese. Maybe add a gun to the head. You're working on a GM project? I am interested in making it with you. I've played that game and it's pretty fun. PM me if you want.

Gokusha Monogarati, which means jail/prison story/legend.

Looks pretty nice, well I think it's a brave feat to continue in the footsteps of Doukutsu Monogatori [Cave Story], as it wa such a great game!

I myself have looked into the Doukutsu Monogatori Sprites and Tiles before, and to me they looked very well done, with great style. Hmm, well I have no great concerns with your pixels right now, well your tiles look to lack highlights? edit... also, I was just thinking your tiles look rather flat? but yea, still early days... would like to see how this all turns out.

But yea I also would like to make a game alike Metroid or Doukutsu Monogatori, but nevermind that.

I dont want to rain on your parade but if this is your first game I'd start smaller and simpler than a Doukutsu Monogator/metroid inspired epic, I doubt Doukutsu Monogator was Pixels first game somehow.

It's not really my first game, I've been using gamemaker for over
3 years now.
I just never finished a project.
