Pixel Art / Re: [wip] Something this simple shouln't be so hard D:

For drawing it, it might be a lot easier to draw it flipped vertically, so you can draw it at almost the same angle for better referencing, its as if your drawing someone upside down while viewing them sitting up.

Be sure to keep the proportions the same, a lot of stuff is out of proportion on where it should actually be, the yellowish-orange should be extended more as well as the corners should be more bulky, best of luck.

First I would like to say they are really nice animations, nicely put together, possibly late for whatever they where going to be used for "Christmas" :P But nice none the less. One problem is the side animation compared to the back, you have a crease in the hat on the side animation that is not on any others. Just a minor detail dont mean to nit pick.

About the speed, speed should never be a concern. Although fast artwork can be beneficial, if something takes you long to do, it should never concern you. Everyone works at their own pace, and if you enjoy it, the time is well spent.

Happy pixeling.

Looks pretty good, I had to use the reference to figure out what armor set he was wearing though, doesn't really look like the doom set too much color-wise. Still looks nice other then the other points picked out. I'd also say to try to rework the shoulder pads a bit.

Nice job.

P.s what server did/do you play on?

If your all going to complain about pure pixel art then look at the Texture and ignore the 3d. Jesus, don't put so many boundaries or you wont accomplish anything.

BTW, Like I said on MSN Kenneth the look sweet, also like the latest addition.

Firsly the mockup is very very nice, and if your having problems with making it look very bright out, possibly try a pixelated lensflare, usually seems to do the trick.

The girl one bugs me. Her head doesnt move, only her hair does.

Im 99% sure that that is a Male char not a female character, hence the 5'oclock shadow :)

The problem with the walking animation is that their is no lifting of the feet, looks like he is sliding his feet back and forth. They dont look to bad how ever, and would be nice for a adventure game, good job.

I like this a lot, the only thing that seems to be bothering me is the Grey's used for the body, they seem to be more of shades you would use on stone, he looks solid as if a statue to me, posibly try experimenting with more blue/green/orange hues to add more color :) could just be me though.
