It lacks detail and is sloppy, but I think it has the volume that your piece so greatly needs. Quick little throw-together so I don't have to type too much.

That's so stupid. Why can't I post my gift myself, on christmas day? 'DUDE UR GUNNA GET BAND IF U DONT POST THE GIFT! WE R PISZD!' is pretty lame guys, giving is the joy, not receiving. I'll e-mail it tonight, I never forgot about it.

General Discussion / Re: Wii, 360 or Ps3?
« on: December 02, 2006, 08:43:29 am »
I got the Wii and the 360. The Wii rivals the others in quality and crushes them in price, and seeks out originality in ways the others didn't. So it's my favorite. But the reason I got the 360 stands strong: Bioshock ( http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/793/793105/vids_1.html ) watch them both in the highest definition you can.

Interesting style, reminds me of alot of my old stuff. And personally, I don't think all of the ice should be reflective like that. Reminds me of some sort of blue mirror structure. I think some translucent and distortive parts with gentle color reflection and strong white highlights. I also think the shape of the ice might look nice a little more rugged, but still some of that crystalline look you've got going. And I'd like to see some frosty freezer burn, too, think it'd have a nice effect.
As far as the elephant goes, I like the shape, but I think with the shading and some of the lighting you've tried to keep it strict to the lines you have drawn around it, which makes displeasing patterns to the eye. Be more free with your shading shapes, use it to define interior form and texture rather than to reinforce the original lines.
If you need an edit example I can make it happen by tomorrow.

Fuck! My photoshop color profiles were all messed up. Revised and edited and colors fixed.
Sorry about that, guys.

Took some of Pep's critique, I think

I realize now that no one ever saw this like it was supposed to be seen unless they saw it on my screen. Terrible.
(New version of CS2, why the hell would it be set on a weird color profile as default?)

It's all really flat. I don't know. I like it to an extent, but I really think you can do better.

I'm really wondering if anyone has viewed it outside of the browser. Please save it, and view it then. It doesn't look right here and I can't seem to fix it. Unless I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, it's not flat, really it's not.

PLEASE SAVE AND VIEW.

Yeah, I was considering adding a penis, but it wasn't really worth the "nudity" tag or the anatomical study of a dog's penis.

I am wondering if it's the color profile on my mac that's messing up the colors. Did anybody download it and view it?

Took a very long time. http://oilocean.com did the lineart, he also did the squid way back when.
Save it and view it in your imaging program, the internet's drying it out for me.
