Lol, I used to know someone nick named bagman.

The floppiness of it is making me recommend you looking at BOBs mario and luigi animations at pixeljoint.

NES limitations.

Main character and Big Daddy are split up into several sprites so I could add depth to them. Main character intensionally clashes a little so if the game was being played you could easily read where the character is without him being lost in the colour-heavy, but dank surroundings.

I'd like to expand on what I currently have, so any criticism is welcome.

Depends on the employer, but I'd say you can't go wrong with a range of skills.

Taken on your advice and it looks better, thanks Feron.

Any more crits before I go on?

For the PJ Pixelart Revisited challenge. I've done some basic shading, and before I go further I'd like some c+c on the anatomy, so that mistakes don't snow ball on me and become bigger problems later on.

The contrast ratio on the grass changes as soon as you hit the soil, to these lower contrast tiles which almost match hills in the distance. I think giving the soil more contrast will help hold the piece together.

Basically I'm just looking to advance on what I currently have.

If you need a version without the cheap light effect: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v410/badassbill123/screen3.png

Crits anyone?

For Imagination is the only escape.

I don't think he's accusing you of theft, I think he just meant that you're using the same object designs, not pixels.
