Job offers / [PAID] Artists Wanted (Character/Environment/Cinematic) for Black Future '88
« on: November 14, 2017, 12:49:05 am »
Hi! Long time lurker, first time poster. My studio recently got funding to complete our first title, Black Future '88, and I'm trying to staff up. The game source-art is pixel art, but it's not a traditional pixel art game. You'll need to be flexible on asset delivery and feedback.
Black Future '88 is a brutal cyberpunk roguelite set in an alternate version of 1988 Oakland, Ca. The game features over the top visual effects and hyper fluid motion. We recently got great write-ups in PCGamer and Rock Paper Shotgun.

I'm specifically looking for experienced character artists/animators as well as environment artists.
We have an Art Director as well as a standard for environment and character art, so you'll need to be able to work in that style.
The budget is based on per project (npcs/characters/environments), but is generally in the $40/hr range.
If you're interested, please email me directly and include examples of your work, and we'll take it from there!
