Pixel Art / [WIP][C+C] Possesed Character

The idea behind this character is that arms are coming out of his head (maybe from a portal or something?) and suspending him in midair. I'm wondering how readable it is and any comments are appreciated.

I'm using this for a game that i probably wont end up finishing  :-[
This run cycle is horrible and i don't know how to fix it. Please critique.  :)
