*headdesk* this is driving me insane. I'm getting messages saying "why aren't you replying" but... how the hell do I make it clear that I can't! *tries to mentally wave and jump up and down*

Oh well, it's not my problem I suppose. I'll just wait until he figures it out himself.

Hey, question: I am trying to contact a member but I get the message that his inbox is full. His profile states no e-mail adress or website, and googling his username didn't help much either. Any idea how I can contact this person?

This apparently wasn't the time to start following this topic again...

We don't know if it works, until we try!

I made an easy game in game maker in like half an hour. It's a fun tool to mess around with.

We could have a game maker competition where we offer a few basic games, members can download game maker, edit the game and post it. Should work. It's not that hard to work with.

Hah I have to learn how to use it for IT at the moment and I am really struggling with it. But I'm on the art side of games, so that explains.
(Feel like helping on my final project in a couple of weeks? ^^; )

Edit: I love the idea of a community game though!

I plan to participate as well, but I am very busy trying not to fail school at the moment... and I also don't like killing things so I need to work out a good and friendly concept to apply to it first haha. Maybe I can do it in my spring break in three weeks.

first off you could play with the contrast and then with the sand cause the pattern seems to repeat too much for me here's an very quick contrast edit

Zenobia i think that the rocks could be more rough and not so shiny  :hehe: but anyway MoRLOK keep up the good work

Haha and I think the contrast was fine as it was before! I liked the soft colours.

I really like it. It takes a bit of getting used to though. If it were me I'd try to make everything look a little more smooth and shiny and a bit less rough. But this style works too, to be honest. Especially the white of the waves at the shore is interesting, though I think you should make the shallow water look less chunky, for a nice transition.

Also, perhaps, to add to the comment above me, you could make some more sand tiles (a couple with less detail) for variation, and to match the rest of the image more

I'm really excited that you like it.  I had the same wish many times.  I will definately be making more of these as time allows.  I think my next one will be a super simple but actually playible side-scroling platformer.

Ohh yay! I like that even better!
