I was trying to create an atmosphere piece, this was my first go at one - no planning or mock ups beforehand.

I had trouble deciding what to put on the hill, and just gave up and left it blank... Perhaps a signpost?

I was wondering what people think and how it could be improved.

I would suggest adding a far background and middle ground, maybe even a far foreground elemt aswell

As to the content, thats up to you, its your piece.

Fantastic start though, good colors and values!
