Like I said before, the animations are really too static. Are you using some kind of visual equipment method where items are drawn on top of the character? If not, (and I would advise you not to) then there's no reason not to go all out, is there?
Make a new sprite for every frame. Do as little copying and pasting as possible.

But before you fix up your animations, there's something else that no one has commented on. Your base upon which to make them isn't strong. I did a quick color reduction and placed a few pixels to illustrate what you should be aiming for - clarity. You had too many colors, many of which were too close to each other. You hue shifted, and that's a good practice, but the colors really never escaped any further than a few ticks in relation to the base color on hue, saturation, or luminosity. At this size, you only need to define the major areas of light and darkness.
