Vine covered tile

on: May 11, 2008, 03:53:19 pm
Well, I haven't been posting at all for a long time so I decided to post again.

Now onto the subject, I've made I tile set which I've been working on for awhile now

Here they are assembled

Then assembled again to show how it tiles continuously

here is all the progress (along with old designs)

and here are the tiles separated into 16X16 blocks

Critique would be appreciated

I think the tiles are really cool. Very nice indeed. (I even saved them to use as a reference).

they would be nice in a metal slug game  :D
i think the white lines on the bottom rocks should have less luminosity, they seem to be wet right now, are they?

Some awesome tiles.=)
I think it might benefit from adding a bit volume in it. Not sure though.

Nice edit! I like it better. Less like a blob of one solid color....
I disagree with smiker about the luminosity of the rocks. They look deliciously moist. ^-^
The curvy little grassy things on top look kind of odd....

Anyway, great work, Josiah! Welcome to the forums. :D
