[C+C] Scifi armoured character

Hello Pixel art experts,

I am a beginner to pixel art and having difficulty making legs for my game character. Here is a character I am working on:



Any help would be appreciated

I like it!
It seems very similar to Gordon Freeman from Half-life, did you draw inspiration that? ;D

The only thing you change is your outline and color choice, and overall its pretty dank.

I tried a few small edits.

1. added a light source in the upper left
2. shoulder and arm placement felt awkward and unnatural - I brought the arms closer in to the body and lowered them a little. The shoulder armour is more pauldron-like now.
3. For the feet, how would you feel about boots?
4. Shortened legs and made the pants a bit poofier, since that seems to be the style you were going for.
5. Made the colours have a bit more contrast. Shadows are bluer and darker.

Just a few ideas to consider!

Thank you for your feedback.

You edits have made a huge difference to overall flow of the character's body.

Pixel art is fun learning process!   ;D

If it isn't literally Gordon Freeman, I'd change the face. I second the shoulder/arm comments as well.
