Hey,
I just love the tmnt. Your sprite has a lot of potential and you made a lot of progress in your second edit.

But there where still some things buggin me:

- I used cartoon shading to increase the readabillity, but i don't know if you were going for that style
- I tried the fix the arms and torso a bit, giving them more correct proportions.
- I also changed the highlight to a more yellowish green.

Hope you like it,
   Ray

Love the character, but the rock tiles repeat a bit to much. This can be easaly fixed by making multiple rock tiles instead of 1 tiling tile.
I think vierbit said this somewhere else to

Found it:

you could do the same with the rock tiles using only 2 variations, little samson, for the NES does the same thing

Cheers  :)

The new edit looks very nice, although what Joseph says is somewhat true.
If you give him some weapons and some armour to make it look less like my edit, I don't mind.

I don't know if I prefere the sark of lighter version...  ???

True, the style change is huge. adding some more highlights fixes this a bit.

<-- original minus black lines | mine with highlights -->

Hey,

I think the main problem is the pose.

I tried to make it more dynamic, and made the head somewhat longer.
Hope it helps!

Cheers :y:

Hey Richard,

I have to disagree with some of the edits, longer legs aren't necessary. Especially if you were going for cartoony proportions
But all the highlights and dark shadows make it hard to read. You can fix this by using less colors and defining only some parts of the body.
Also i dislike the use of black inside of a sprite, but that's just me  :P

Here's my edit:

I also edited his right arm (left for the viewer) to make it more readable.

Love the colors  :y:
