looking good, but arms should swing a bit more. What do you mean 'Swing'? More actions than cycling?
Hey! Great job so far.If you talking about body, I'm not. Just have small time for every piece doing it as soon as I can.
You forgot vertical movement though!

Even if someone before told you that .jpeg is not good for pixel art cause it adds distortions and unnecessary colors you are still saving your drawing as .jpegOkay, thank you for your feedback
Your new version have so much necessary dithering that you can't even tell what's on the image. Dithering don't help much on small resolutions especially when you have high contrast between colors you try to blend and when you use this many dithering. Also avoid using pure black.
If I were you I would scrap this drawing, plan out design and colors and start fresh. Think about it as part of learning process, and don't get too attached to your drawings.
I don't see any image at all.So here the original version
I don't see any image at all.Ill try another url
First, the image is a .jpg, which is not a good format to save pixel art in. Second, you don't need to upscale the art before posting. Especially not 20x.
As far as the art itself goes, there is no clear light source, and this makes the bottom part unreadable.
This is a piece I made some time ago, a tribute to the The Darkness (Starbreeze game). It has the most sad ending I've ever seen in games, makes me cry every time. I'm relatively happy with it, but color palette is definitely a mess. I mostly picked colors from my ref and the scene looks pretty dull.I'm not pro pixelartist, but I think u need to make earth lighter and give to (lamp)light better dissolve.
Here's the reference:
I'd like to ask for some help about coloring of this piece. How can I make this more pleasant for the eyes as a pixel scene while maintaining feel and atmosphere of the moment? I also dislike my dithering on the sky but haven't found a way to make a decent gradient there.
