not a whole lot of shading going on on his breastplate, should be some lighting there from the staff as it's currently positioned.

I might have gone horribly wrong or overboard with it, but there is too much light for that small amount of shading:

The silhouette is really cool.
For the armor design you seem to fall into the same trap i always do. that being

There's tons of ways to do it, and since you're going for a more robo scifi fantasy mix you even have more freedom. Though right now all your arm, leg and torso armor does is being round blobs.
I'd love to see more detail and thought put into it!

yeah!, is an advantage invent a world, rather than mimic a realistic style. I think I could bring to life new characters. Because add new details to this I think is more complicated
