You mean try to get some guys here to transition to chicks? Something tells me I wouldn't be able to convince much to go that far. lol
But hey, any who want to change teams are definetly welcomed.

Oh, and the smurf village analogy is dead on! haha

I'm sure I'm desperately needed to help bump the female count.

Female 25

There we go. Now we have 6 females, and 9,000 males. Hoorah! We're getting there, girls.

Anyone wanna chat ? I'm in the "virtual.dyc.edu:6667 #pixelation" right now.

"irc.sorcery.net:6667 #pixelation" isn't working for me for some reason. I get "#irc.sorcery.net:6667 Cannot join channel (Spamming other networks is not allowed here)"  ???

Well, as said, this is just lovely :)
Perhaps the last frame could have less square irises... but still eyes are a gem to look at!
The only thing I really have a issue with is the background... maybe too many hues... is it still temporary perhaps? I noticed you did not do any AA against it...
Anyway, hard to notice given the cuteness of the rest ;)

Why, thank you! ^_^

Yeah, I know what you mean about the irises. I'll try to fix that.
And yeah, I personally think the background is too bland, so I plan on changing it soon.

Anyway, you did a great job with your avatar. No sense beating yourself up over little things. It looks really good to me.
Y'know, for someone who claims to be no pixeller, you sure are good!

Oh, and your avatars kick ass, Baccaman! I totally love the expressions and toning.

This one in particular is awesome.
It almost has a "TwoFace" look to it.

You got that right. We swoon over such feats.
Infact, if there's a man out there who can rip the lid of a bucket of house paint off with his teeth, I'm all his.
Such skills are indeed greatly admired, useful, and respected.

Well, I could tell it's coming from the upper left. What I'd suggest is to cast more light over the head. Either that or remove the light off the ear.
The design of the devil looks really good. You're really good with line art.

Thanks, guys. ^_^

And to answer your question, Lackey, yes, the circulatory system is the health bar. Glad you like it.

As for the game, it's about a young woman who has been cursed by a vampire, and seeks him out before the night passes and the curse lasts forever.
There will be monsters such as ghouls, wicked spirits, and golems to combat.

Here's an idea of what the game screen will kinda look like. Bare in mind that I made the background with filters on Photoshop just to get a quick overall view in advance. The real backgrounds will be made pixel by pixel.

And this here is a design of the character...

Ass-cape... That just makes me giggle for some reason. lol

Anyway, I like the look! The cape and sword certainly gives an additional "badass" look to him, which kinda shows that he's gone far in his quest.

And the sword looks great. Nice and broad, which suits a big burly man.

Paint sucks as do traditional mediums.

I complete disagree with that statement. As a person who both uses MS Paint AND uses traditional mediums such as pencil and paper to draw, I find that you're overlooking the beautiful art that can be made with both.
Sure, it IS time consuming and requires alot of skill and patience; but breath-taking artwork CAN be produced with such "primitive" tools and materials.

Art knows no bounds. 3000 years ago, people were creating artwork as amazing as the most modern artworks of today.
