First off, yes that was the reference, 2nd, the arm is something I added to it because it looked odd with just the rifle sticking out. as if he has no arms.

I really didn't use much detail (or thought ) for the Russian star. And In paint there's a star tool. it didnt really work well I guess.

I probably should just take out the star and maybe put in a type of flag.

I may consider adding detail but as you've said, I suppose it almost doesn't count as pixel art. Then again, isometric pixel art pictures are very large sometimes but still counted. I dunno, just a thought.

And Like I said, it started as just line art but I just made it a sillouhette. I'm torn on if I want to maybe redo it and make it smaller.

P.S. as for the angle of the soldier, when I'm redrawing something I tend to mess up angles, sizes, etc. It's a dreadful thing.

It isn't the best ever. It started as line art, I'm just practicing drawing. Hope you like it.  ;D

Yea the lightbulb was me just messing around copying a picture I found >.>  I wasn't really intending on perfect circles or shading at that point. i've been using paint, and it's obnoxious to try and get colors on there.

I did do a little artwork though..

Ohhh, haha. Well.. Idk usually cliffsides arent as jagged unless maybe they're climbable.

This reminds me of the back of a rocky dragon. with a little recolor it could look completely different. haha.
I'd say, as far as sand goes, try for either a smooth wave, or a more fine and grainy look.

This really takes my eyes on a trip. It really is interesting and arcade esque, as earlier mentioned. I wish that I had something to contribute, but seeing that your skill is beyond mine, I'll just applaud

Edit: Ok, here's a second attempt. kindof a rough sword, somewhat berzerker type.
