[WIP] itt 1up makes a horrible attempt at anatomy

stuck on how to go any farther on the arm and it's really bugging me :T

I think the eyes need something more then just abyss.
Unless he's wearing shades or something.
His right arm is looking good, his left arm is right fucked.
His bicept is too short, and his fore arm is too short, drop the elbow.

I think the anatomy of their right arm (our left) needs some work. I think the sholder needs to be pushed up and the muscles of the arms need some attention. Anyhows I'm no expert on anatomy, so ya might wanna wait to see what others have to say.


Here is my take on the arm anyhows, although I ruined your nice shading, hehe. Hmm, I think I might have pushed the sholder up a bit to far, but I dunno.

at the moment, you have his arm's muscles too far down, which really isn't a difficult fix.
the bicep is too far down, which would normally make bending his arm impossible because it was lined up with the elbow. the forearm looks good, but the hand makes it appear like he has two fingers. by making it slightly wider and trying to show more fingers, even with just a few pixels, might help.
His stance indicates that his right leg is stretched to the side, which would lower his right side unless his other leg was either the same position or bent at the knee. Souly got to the other arm already, but I edited it in here anyways to show how it might look. His pose also suggests that his stomach is facing forward quite a bit, so his back should be at an angle. If you decide to move the arm up you might also want to stretch it out a bit...hope this helps.

well here's what i've got so far after messing around with it for awhile and listening to your crits. tried changing the palette to a more desaturated one too because i don't think brighter colors work so well with this piece.

Still issues with the arm anatomy, the sholder muscle or whatever seems to meet up with like the forearm, which I think is very odd.

The bicep looks distractingly small compared to the shoulder muscle... then again I'm no expert of muscle anatomy(if you couldn't tell by my lingo).

The arm on our left
is really really short.
It just goes from shoulder to forearm, with a hint of a bicep. But the bicep is the muscle, and the upper arm is more than just that one muscle, you know? So yeah, you're missing a large portion of arm, I believe.
