I haven't seen I, Robot, and I heard it had nothing to do with the book, really. Which doesn't surprise me, considering that the book was more of a collection of short stories centered around the three Laws of Robotics. It was a great book. "Reason" I think it was called, was my favorite.
Asimov is just a great writer all around. He wrote some greats essays on math and science that believe it or not were entertaining at same time as instructive. I wish folks like him were the ones writing the textbooks.
