[C+C] High Tech Webbed Leaf

My previous post was my first pixel art ever, but now I started experimenting with contours and shading. I wanted to make another sword, but then it turned into a fan shape, then this high tech leaf shape. The red one to the right is supposed to be leather with lighting coming from the top right, but much more top then right. Additionally, it is supposed curled in a cup shape away from the screen.

Please help me on this because I have no idea whether these are any good or not.

Interesting concept. The outline towards the bottom should be darker to match the shading towards the bottom.
I'm going to play around with this.
Edit: Okay this took awhile, but I think it would look way cool doing something like this

Its not perfect but just an idea.
