[C+C] Trying different shading techniques

I am trying to get better at shading and buffers between multiple colors in pixel art. So I tried some pillow shading dithering and AA. What could I be doing better?

I always say that you have to get the right proportion of those three techniques. Also, what did you do to the pixels fam? they look so messed up

Hey, it looks like you scaled up the image a bit before uploading? it looks like some pixel rows are thicker then others or was this done on purpose?
