Actually, scratch that! I gave the jaw shading my own go!wow looks really cool
Thanks a lot!
You can basically see all the changes I made in this image. I added the same shading for the head to the jaw, it may not be entirely correct, but it should certainly not be totally the darkest shade. Secondly, the white in the eye contrasts too much with the blue, so I used some AA to smoothen that. You probably see the other changes yourself.
Now a more important problem is your light source, according to the shine in the eyes the light is coming from the left corner, according to your shading on the head it's coming from the right. (Hint: it would be easier to fix the eye shine than the shading)
Thanks!, yeah i need to learn more about light source
The largest problem I can find with it is that the leaves as a whole aren't lit like the trunk. The roots in front aren't particularly convincing to me.
Otherwise good job.
I only a beginner, but I like it very much, and I can only fear the day I will set myself to make a good tree, by looking one can feel the hard work it takes. I specially like the counterlight. My I ask if the palette was a general porpose one or made specifically for the tree?i was trying to emulate the treeīs animation of titan soul, but is really hard
I'd say your best succeeded. It's a good tree, great texture on bark and leaves. Symmetry, though rare in nature, is pleasant to the eye here. My only real suggestion would be to try a variety of trees. Dead ones, scraggly ones, droopy, bent, unusual etc.I will thanks for the advise
