Personally I prefer Slack over Discord
Although largely they are the same (i think not many people here would use the voice chat!)

I left slack today(deactivated account). Had not been around much over the past few weeks anyway. Felt like it was too much of a distraction from things I should rather take care of in my life. I will of course keep lurking on the boards.  :)

The Pix Slack helps keep me sane while at work, and if I'm on I like to be discussing stuff I care about or hue shifting oded's mockups.

I usually stick to discord, I feel like it's the most likely candidate for "Skype killer" and I eagerly await and support that usurping.
Skype got BAAAAD.

Heh, that was my old room in Hamburg (~3.5 years ago). They had to go for the same reason (distraction). Also... I've been dealing with major depression and social phobia and alcoholism (and therapy didn't help but rather made it worse I think). I like slack too but too much, so much that I kept trying to obsessively read and keep up with everything in all the channels when I was active, so the only way to keep me from doing that I thought was to cut myself off from accessing it at all (I should probably leave Twitter as well).

Maybe I'll return someday when I have developed strategies to successfully manage my time and my obsessions.  :)
