« on: April 21, 2017, 03:17:58 pm »

Here's another one. I tried to implement a bit of ease-in ease-out principle here but it's a looong way to got for me to master it.

Yet I just wanted to share and hear what you think. Thanks.

Good day.

I've been experimenting with some stuff and decided to make myself an avatar that resembles my older nickname )

Here's an ape eating an ape for all eternity. Hope you'll like it.

Which one's better?

Please share your thoughts and critiques, all as usual welcome.

Thanks.

Pixel Art / Blue Monkey Low pixel walk [C+C]
« on: April 20, 2017, 02:17:55 pm »
Howdy!

I continue trying different styles for my Blue Monkey character. Inspired by video process of Burney Cumming from Powerhoof I came up with this little thingy.

Simple yet effective walk cycle, but I'm still not sure about readability and the whole feel. So I'm open to suggestions )

Thanks.

« on: April 15, 2017, 03:07:17 pm »
Howdy!

Here's another animation of my character. Trying out simple run cycle.

Can't figure out how here hands should flap behind her back )
Any ideas?

I'll probably try classic hands swing but for now wanted to try something different.

Any other C&C are also welcome.

Thanks.

Pixel Art / [WIP] Blue Monkey Test, Breathe
« on: April 09, 2017, 10:43:07 am »
Hi everybody!

I'm new here, read the rules, but still unaccustomed to the rest of the forum so don't be harsh )
I've been doing PA occasionally for quite some time, but still would like to hear some constructive c+c from fellow artists.

Here's a test of idle breathing I did for a character of mine. I'd like to here critiques on both animation and pixel art execution in general if you will.

Thanks.
