If you feed a Tabby Slime a Pink Plort, it turns into a Pink Tabby Largo. Suddenly, that meat-eating feline will happily eat a Heart Beet or a Cuberries.
It’s about logistics. You can grow a massive garden of Oca Oca or Odd Onions much faster than you can maintain a coop full of Briar Hens. By using the Pink Slime's DNA, you bypass the most annoying hunger mechanics in the game.

- Build your Pink hybrids in the Overgrowth or the Lab expansion. Keep them away from your "pure" slimes to prevent Tarr outbreaks.
