The seas are building from 3 to 5 feet this morning to a much more aggressive 5 to 7 feet, with occasional 9-footers out there this afternoon.
- Intracoastal Waters: Rough in exposed areas.
- Gulf Stream: Northwest winds are hitting 25 knots, making it particularly nasty for anything smaller than a yacht.
- Surf: It’s mostly choppy and messy right now. There’s a swell building, but with these 20mph+ winds, it’s more "washing machine" than "world-class break."
The water temperature is still sitting around 75°F, which is technically warmer than the air right now. It’s one of those weird Florida days where you’re actually warmer in the ocean than standing on the beach.
