Also, the Paratrooper ride is back for 2026! It’s been relocated to the south of the Steel Dragon roller coaster. If you’re looking at an old map, it’ll show it in the wrong spot or missing entirely.

- Start at the back: Hit Rocket Blast and the new 2026 raft slides first.
- Mid-day break: Head over to the Giant Heated Relaxing Pool around 2:00 PM when the slide lines are at their peak. It fits about 120 people and stays at a steady 98°F.
- Check the weights: For the big raft slides like Big Water Bend, there are group weight limits. They have test scales near the entrance of the queues. Use them. It’s way better than getting to the top of the tower only to be told your group is too heavy or too light.
To make the most of your day, download the interactive map from the official Waldameer website onto your phone before you arrive. Cell service near the lake can be spotty when the park is packed, and having a screenshot of the layout will save you from wandering aimlessly near the Ferris Wheel when you're actually trying to find the Bermuda Triangle slides.
