Tarkov Health Care Privacy Part 1: Why Most People Mess Up This Shoreline Quest

Tarkov Health Care Privacy Part 1: Why Most People Mess Up This Shoreline Quest

Look, we've all been there. You load into Shoreline with a backpack full of markers, feeling like a high-tier professional, only to get sniped by a Scav from across the map or, worse, realize you forgot to actually stay near the ambulance while the timer ticked down. Health Care Privacy Part 1 is one of those classic Therapist quests that sounds easy on paper but becomes a massive headache if you don't respect the map flow.

You're basically playing delivery man for the game's favorite doctor, marking three specific ambulances. Simple, right? Not really. Shoreline is a map that eats players who don't have a plan. Honestly, if you try to sprint through this without thinking about timing, you're just donating MS2000 markers to the loot pool.

Getting Started: The Shopping List

Before you even think about hitting "Ready," you need to visit Prapor. You need three MS2000 Markers. Don't be the guy who brings one and thinks they'll "find more" or "do it in three separate raids." That’s a waste of everyone's time. Buy all three. They're about 15,000 Roubles each, which isn't cheap when you're starting out, but dying with them is more expensive.

Quick tip: Keep those markers in your Secure Container (Alpha, Gamma, whatever you've got). If you die, the markers stay. If you put them in your pockets and get head-eyes'd by a guy in a bush, you’re out 45k for no reason.

What You're Actually Doing

  1. Mark the first ambulance at the Health Resort.
  2. Mark the second ambulance near the Tunnel extract.
  3. Mark the third ambulance also near the Tunnel.
  4. Survive and extract from Shoreline.

The Resort Ambulance: High Risk, High Reward

This is usually where raids go to die. The first ambulance is parked right in the middle of the Health Resort, specifically on the south side between the East and West wings, near the helicopter.

Resort is the "Hot Zone" of Shoreline. It's where the "chads" go to fight over LEDX spawns and high-tier loot. If you're just here for Tarkov Health Care Privacy Part 1, you have to be smart. If you get a "god spawn" nearby, sprint in, plant it, and leave immediately. If you spawn far away, wait. Honestly, wait like 15 or 20 minutes. Let the big boys finish their gunfights and leave.

When you plant the marker, a 30-second timer starts. You do not have to stand on top of it, but you do need to stay in the general area and protect it. If you run 200 meters away, the timer might fail. Just crouch in a nearby bush or behind a pillar and keep your ears open.

The Tunnel Duo: The "Extract Camper" Gauntlet

The other two ambulances are located at the complete opposite end of the map from the Resort—down by the Tunnel extraction point.

  • Ambulance #2: Parked on the road, just past a yellow bus as you head toward the tunnel.
  • Ambulance #3: Literally right in front of the tunnel entrance.

The problem here isn't the difficulty of finding them; it's the fact that everyone uses this extract. You are essentially standing in a giant "shoot me" sign for anyone coming down the road to leave the raid.

Pro Insight: Check Scav Island before you commit to the tunnel markers. If there are Scavs over there with SKSs, they will pepper you while you're trying to hide by the ambulances. Also, keep an eye on the cliffs above the tunnel. Snipers love that spot.

What Happens If You Die?

This is the part that confuses people. If you mark all three ambulances and the timers finish, but then you get killed on the way to the extract—you do not have to mark them again. The objectives stay checked off.

However, you still have to "Survive and Extract" to finish the quest. You can just load into a fresh raid, wait for the timer to reach the 7-minute mark (or get enough XP to avoid a "Run Through"), and leave. Once you get that "Survived" status, Therapist will let you turn it in.

Rewards for Your Trouble

Is it worth the stress? Yeah, mostly for the reputation.

  • Experience: Roughly 8,300 to 22,000 (depends on the current wipe balance).
  • Therapist Rep: +0.03 to +0.07. This is huge for getting Medstation upgrades.
  • Cash: About 22,000 Roubles.
  • Unlock: You get the ability to buy IFAK individual first aid kits from Therapist Level 3, which is a total game-changer for mid-game survival.

Actionable Strategy for Success

To get this done in one go, follow this specific flow:

  • Load in at night. Shoreline at night is much quieter. Use a cheap pair of NVGs or just bump your gamma. It makes the Resort significantly less terrifying.
  • Pathing is everything. If you spawn near the Coast, do the Tunnel ones first. If you spawn near the Customs side, hit Resort early or wait it out.
  • Don't be a hero. If you hear a full-blown war happening at the helicopter, just walk away. Go loot a stash and come back when it's quiet.
  • Check your status. Open your task menu before you leave the raid. Make sure all three have a green checkmark. There's nothing worse than extracting and realizing one marker didn't "take."

Once you've finished this, Therapist will eventually lead you into Part 2, which takes you to the busy streets of Customs. But for now, get those markers down and get out alive.

Next Steps for You:

  1. Check your Therapist loyalty level to see if you even have the quest yet (requires Level 13).
  2. Buy the three MS2000 markers from Prapor and put them in your Secure Container immediately.
  3. Map out your Shoreline extract route based on where you spawn to ensure you don't run into a dead end.
