Stellar Blade Sky Ace: How to Get Eve’s Pilot Suit Without Getting Lost

Stellar Blade Sky Ace: How to Get Eve’s Pilot Suit Without Getting Lost

Honestly, if you've spent more than five minutes in Xion, you’ve probably noticed that Stellar Blade isn’t just an action game. It’s a high-fashion simulator disguised as a post-apocalyptic sci-fi romp. Among the massive wardrobe of Nano Suits you can collect, the Stellar Blade Sky Ace outfit stands out for being one of the most cohesive, "complete" looks in the game. It’s got that dark green military coat, futuristic stockings, and a vibe that screams Top Gun if Maverick were a cybernetically enhanced angel.

But here is the thing: you can't just buy it. You can't just find it in a random chest behind a dumpster in Eidos 7. Getting your hands on the Sky Ace requires you to actually care about the people living in the last bastions of humanity. Specifically, you need to become best friends with Kaya, the shopkeeper at Sisters' Junk.

Why Sky Ace Is a Fan Favorite

The design is actually based on "memory data of several top guns" from the past. While some of Eve's outfits are, let’s be real, a little bit "out there," Sky Ace feels like something a pilot would actually wear while dodging Naytiba. It’s sleek. It’s professional. It has that "thigh squish" factor that the community on Reddit won't stop talking about.

Most importantly, it doesn't require crafting materials like the Extreme Polymer or Advanced Polymer that most other suits demand. Once you finish the quest, it’s yours. No sitting at a repair console for twenty minutes wondering where your materials went.

The Long Road to Xion: Unlocking the Quest

You aren't getting this early. Sorry. You need to progress through the story until you finish the Matrix 11 region. Once you’re back in Xion, the world opens up a bit more, and your relationship with the NPCs starts to matter.

To even see the quest for Sky Ace, you have to do some legwork:

  • Max out Kaya’s Affinity: You need to reach Affinity Level 3 with Kaya. The easiest way to do this? Buy stuff. Buy everything. Even if you don't need the materials, just dump your gold into her shop.
  • The "Request" Dialogue: Once her affinity is high enough, a new dialogue option called "Request" will appear. This isn't just flavor text; it triggers one of the most emotional side quests in the game.
  • The Encounter Quest: This is the specific mission name. Kaya will ask you to find her sister, Kara, who went missing in the Great Desert.

Surviving the Great Desert and the Behemoth

The Great Desert is a nightmare if you haven't fixed the Solar Tower yet. Sandstorms everywhere. Visibility is zero. Basically, don't even try to find the Sky Ace objective until you’ve got the power back on and the map cleared of that orange haze.

Once the weather is clear, you’re heading to the far northeastern corner of the map. Look for a massive, derelict ship moored in the sand. It looks cool, but it’s a trap.

As soon as you reach the opening near the ship, you're going to get jumped by a Behemoth. This isn't a "hold circle to win" kind of fight. The Behemoth loves to charge and has a pouncing attack that will delete half your health bar if you're playing on Hard. Use your Burst skills. Parry the yellow flashes. If you’ve been ignoring your Exospine upgrades, this is where it catches up to you.

After the beast is down, the mood shifts. You’ll find Kara. Without spoiling too much, it’s a heavy moment. You need to scan her corpse to retrieve her memory stick.

Bringing it Home

Once you have the memory data, fast travel back to Xion and talk to Kaya. Delivering the news is rough, but she’ll give you the Stellar Blade Sky Ace outfit as a reward for finally giving her closure.

Check your inventory. It’s right there. You don't need Lily’s help to craft it. You can put it on immediately and go back to looking like the coolest pilot in the wasteland.

Does it look different in New Game Plus?

Sorta. If you already have the Sky Ace from your first playthrough and you complete the quest again in New Game Plus (NG+), you’ll get a variant called Air Ace. It’s basically a recolor, but for the completionists out there, it’s another box to tick.

One thing people get wrong: you cannot get both in one run. If you want the full set, you're looking at at least two trips through the desert.

Quick Checklist for the Sky Ace Suit

  1. Complete Matrix 11 story arc.
  2. Talk to Kaya at Sisters' Junk in Xion.
  3. Spend enough gold to hit Affinity Level 3.
  4. Accept the quest "Encounter."
  5. Go to the Northeast Great Desert (near the ship).
  6. Kill the Behemoth boss.
  7. Retrieve the memory data and return to Kaya.

Actionable Next Steps

If you're currently stuck in the Wasteland or just arrived at the Great Desert, don't rush the boss. Make sure your Solar Tower is active first so you can actually see where you're going. If you’re short on gold to max out Kaya's affinity, go hunt some crates in the Wasteland Basin; the loot there sells for a decent chunk of change.

Once you have the suit, try pairing it with the Green Hair color option from Gwen's salon in Xion. It matches the military green of the coat perfectly and makes for some of the best Photo Mode shots in the game.
