Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode: Why You Can't Just Type It In

Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode: Why You Can't Just Type It In

You’ve seen the container. It’s sitting there in that rusted-out shipwreck in the southwest corner of the Wasteland, mocking you. You probably even looked up the code already—βθαλδζ—and tried to punch it in, only for the game to basically tell you "nice try, but no."

Honestly, it's one of the most frustrating moments in Stellar Blade if you're someone who likes to skip the line. You can't just "know" the Stellar Blade recruit passcode; you have to earn the right to use it by finding six specific "Chapter of Trial" documents hidden across the world.

The quest is called "Recruit Passcode Specialists," and it's a scavenger hunt that spans from the dark sewers of Matrix 11 to the windswept dunes of the Great Desert. If you’re missing even one of those Greek letters in your Data Bank, that keypad isn't going to budge. Here is exactly how to hunt them down so you can finally get that suit everyone’s talking about.

The Matrix 11 Problem

Most people actually pick up the first piece without even trying. It’s tucked away in Matrix 11, specifically in the Rotten Labyrinth. After you deal with the Stalker boss, you’ll find a survivor hideout that looks suspiciously like a cultist’s den.

If you missed it, don't sweat it. You've gotta backtrack to the Rail Yard waypoint. Head back into the hideout and look for the altar on the second floor. It’s covered in candles. Interact with the small box there to get Chapter of Trial 1-β.

Hunting in the Great Desert

Once you've cleared Matrix 11, the game opens up. The Great Desert is home to the next three pieces, and they aren't exactly out in the open.

The Ruined Building (North)

Travel to the northeast corner of the Great Desert. You’re looking for a cluster of dilapidated, half-destroyed structures. One of these buildings has a second floor you can actually reach. Jump up there, find the shrine, and grab Chapter of Trial 2-θ.

The South Buried Ruins

Now, head south toward the "Way to the Solar Tower" supply camp. To the north of this camp, you’ll see a broken overpass. Tucked inside a ruined building nearby—look for a hole in the side of the wall—is the third shrine. This one gives you Chapter of Trial 3-α.

The Hypertube Secret

This is the one that trips everyone up. You cannot just walk to this shrine. You have to use the Hypertube on the west side of the Great Desert. It’s a high-speed sliding sequence where you have to dodge obstacles.

At the very end, you’ll get dumped into a pool of water in an underground cavern. Do not just swim away! Immediately look to your right. There is a tiny strip of land with a shrine holding Chapter of Trial 4-λ.

Finishing Up in the Wasteland

You’re almost there. The final two pieces are back in the Wasteland, but not near the shipwreck.

  • Trial 5-δ: Go to the Western Great Canyon supply camp. Run slightly northeast into a small canyon area. There’s a little alcove in the cliff face that's easy to run past if you aren't looking for it.
  • Trial 6-ζ: Head to the Altess Levoire entrance. Follow the path north from the elevator. You'll have to fight or dodge a few Naytibas here. Look for another crevice in the wall containing the final shrine.

Entering the Code and Claiming the Prize

With all six documents in your inventory, head back to that shipwreck in the southwestern Wasteland. The terminal will finally respond to your touch.

The passcode, when translated into standard inputs, follows the order of the chapters you found: β - θ - α - λ - δ - ζ.

Inside the container, you’ll find a red crate. Opening it rewards you with the La Vie en Rose Nano Suit. It’s a red and black variant of the Black Rose outfit, and it looks incredible in the desert sun. You also get the final document, Chapter of Salvation 0-Ω, which officially wraps up the "Recruit Passcode Specialists" request.

Don't forget to head back to a Bulletin Board in Xion to actually turn in the mission. You get a decent chunk of gold (around 20,000) and some Vitcoins for your trouble.

Actionable Next Steps

  1. Check your Data Bank: Open the "Prayers" section under Documents. If you have chapters 1 through 6, head straight to the ship.
  2. Prioritize the Hypertube: If you're missing Chapter 4, you likely haven't done the "King of the Tunnel" quest yet. Do that first.
  3. Backtrack to Matrix 11: If your list starts with Chapter 2, you missed the one in the hideout. Use the Rail Yard fast travel point to save time.
  4. Equip the Suit: The La Vie en Rose is a fan favorite for a reason—go to a camp and craft it immediately once you have the materials.
